All scarves are hand-dyed and hand-painted by Ashley Ashoff on imported silk in the USA. Each scarf takes approximately 10 hours to create.

The "Human Heart" design is inspired by a person with a heart of gold. She was inspired by many photographs of the human heart and came across one that was particularly perplexing, which was a photograph blown up out of proportion of the tissue encompassing the organ itself. A person with a good heart is very rare and sacred; thus in her designs she has made an attempt at capturing that rarity on silk. Scarves in her opinion are like jewelry; they have a story, at least hers do.

Silk Charmeuse - a luxurious silk that is heavier than twill and satin and is double sided, meaning that one side is crepe and the other side is satin. Thus one side of the silk has a luster and the other side is matte, allowing the wearer to have the option of wearing the scarf on either side, creating a different look.
