The wood in the middle of this is padouk, it is a beautiful deep red and very, very hard... so plenty durable. The shape makes for comfort, and keeps it upright. Silver outside. It is 1/4" wide and stands 3/8" tall. Keep it looking good by rubbing it with a scotch-brite pad now and again.
