i developed this unique style for thicker gauge earrings, but i've found it translates quite nicely to a 'standard' earwire, as long as the wearer treats the wire carefully!
it takes a little getting used to, but you can easily take these in and out without bending the wire (only flex gently!)
i recommend punching a small hole in a greeting card or some such heavy paper. then slide the earring on like a paper clip (best from the upper outer part of the lobe) find the hole with the end of the wire, and spiral the earwire through. then translate these actions onto your earlobe, and, with a little practice, you're all set!
if you have thicker earlobes, pull down on your lobeand try sliding the thinnest part of your lobe between the wire overlap. (you can bend the earwire to the side to set the width of the gap, but do not bend it back and forth with every wear.) Usually ships in 1-2 weeks |
