Prismera Design
Laura Su is the mind behind Prismera Design. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Illustration. It all started when her first job out of school landed her as a production assistant in the fashion district of NYC. To escape the daily tedium, she took her lunch breaks in the jewelry supply stores nearby.
It didn't take long for her to start playing with various materials-- her love of textural and 3d illustrative work carried over quite naturally to jewelry design.
The word "Prismera" comes from the words "prism" and "chimera". Laura aspires to be a person that brings color and beauty to the world and considers herself a hybrid of personalities [which is often reflected
in her illustrative work]. She hopes that Prismera Design will continue to evolve as she grows in her abilities as an artist. |
