Robot Arms | USA
"A young and ambitious girl from a small town somewhere in the Great White North (Canada) had a sparkle of an idea that appeared to her while hastily cutting the bottoms of her ballet tights right before an audition. She thought of starting her own clothing company. Having watched generations of hands fumble with fabrics, needles and threading sewing machines, (a skill her grandmother had taught her when just a kid), the idea of creating wasn't in any way foreign. Her mother taught her what her mother had taught her. Soon, this young and ambitious girl decided to travel to a far, shiny and bustling city filled with millions of ideas, and faces and colours called New York. She saved up some money from her many part time jobs (because it costs a lot of money to keep this magical city looking shiny) and bought herself a sewing machine. She named her new idea Robot Arms Clothing Company and began making her favourite thing in the world hand bags. Why is it her favourite thing? Well her grandma' had always said, "a lady always carries a purse. It holds all you need along your path". So whatever those little things that you need to get you through your day is and where ever that shiny place you dwell in is I hope Robot Arms is helping."
I'm creating a little world of fashion encompassing all my years as an entertainer and dancer. The insanity that is this business has me finding sanctuary in creating clothing that you can rock to an audition, to the laundry mat, a photo-shoot or anytime you want to look fly without spending to much brain space on deciding what to wear!
