The idea of taking ordinary images, things we see everyday, and transforming them into something a little more precious through a new treatment of the idea. A picture of a bird is just a bird, until the time and care is taken to re-create it's likeness in sterling silver and glass. The care and attention put into this process elevates that image to that of a small gem, a thing that shouldn't be taken for granted.
