About wear-and-tear
Founded by Cheung Lik, due to her previous experience in different design disciplines, she introduces innovative ideas to the accessories market and experiments various materials and forms with no boundaries. It initiates a new way of wearing objects and a new touch of tactile with delicate but modern designs. Her inspirations come from fashion, product, architecture and etc. Handcrafted technique, such as knitting and weaving are the essence of wear-and-tear. Her innovative design is full of surprises in every season.
About Cheung Lik
Cheung Lik, graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Fashion Design. After graduated, she works as freelancer in a wide range of design field such as jewelry, costume, photography, art direction, web, cultural exhibition…etc. In 2006-2007, she was honored to be part of the Paris Trade Fair and London Fashion Week off-schedule, selling her accessories under the name of “Daydream Nation”. Her accessories have also been selling in Europe and Harvey Nichols (Hong Kong). She launched with her own brand “wear-and-tear” in 2008. |
